Privacy without acreage
Highgate lots sit in the range where a family gets meaningful separation from neighbors while keeping a yard that one crew can maintain in a morning. Larger acreage elsewhere in Union County sounds appealing until the second season of upkeep.
Pool siting and outdoor living
The practical test is whether a lot can hold a pool, a covered loggia, and still leave usable lawn. Most Highgate rear yards can, which is why so many homes here have added outdoor living without crowding the setback lines.
Resale implications
